Weekend construction work led to through service to Manhattan on the Brighton Line being suspended. As a result, special "S" shuttle trains ran between Prospect Park and Coney Island, where passengers could transfer to super-express "Q" trains to Manhattan. It is relatively unusual to see the "S" designation used in areas of the system besides the regular shuttle lines. Enjoy this look at a very interesting operation!
