Will the Sun ever become a black hole? No, it won't and never will.
Why?? Because the sun is way, way too small and has way, way too little mass.
Our sun is referred to as a type G Dwarf star. Stars like the sun will fuse hydrogen into helium and then helium into carbon and a little oxygen. After that, it's essentially the end of fusion for the star
The best the sun can hope for at the end of its `life` is to finally become a white/black dwarf which is one of three outcomes for all stars.
