Are you facing any issues with the touchpad of your laptop? In this video, we will try to fix the touchpad issues. Follow the steps as shown in this video.
1. Click on the Start Windows icon at the bottom left.
2. Click on the Settings from the menu list.
3. In the Settings window, click on the Devices option.
4. Click on the Touchpad from the left pane menu list.
5. Under the Related settings, click on the Additional settings text link.
6. If you notice that the touchpad device is disabled then click on the Enable button to turn it On.
7. Click on the OK button.
8. Close the Settings window.
9. Type Control Panel in the Windows search bar at the bottom left of the taskbar.
10. Click on the Control Panel App from the search result.
11. Click on the Hardware and Sound option.
12. Under the Devices and Printer, click on the mouse option.
13. In the Mouse Properties window, make sure that the touchpad is Enabled.
14. Close the opened Windows.
15. Type Device Manager in the Window search bar, and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
16. In the Device Manager Window, click on the Mice and other pointing devices drop list.
17. Double click on the installed Touchpad device name.
18. Click on the Driver tab, and then click on the Update Driver.
19. Sometimes, updating a device driver may resolve the touchpad problem.
