While doing some home improvements, Ian noticed he wasn’t the only one in and out of his garage: a bird had built a nest and was raising her chicks in there. Worried that she could only get in and out to feed them if the garage door was open, Ian set up a Ring Stick Up Cam to look after the family. “I was checking regularly,” he says, “especially at night to ensure the mom was ‘in’ and resting with the babies before I closed the garage.”
Eventually, the chicks grew up and left the nest. “I felt like a proud parent,” Ian says, “I am now an empty nester.”
