In this video we introduce preliminary information concerning a new adjunctive technique for manual reduction of a testicular torsion. Going a little heavy on the alliteration we named this new technique the testicular torsion traction technique or the torsed testicle traction technique.
I can't imagine this hasn't been thought of before, but my manual review of the literature found only one article with some similarities. If you have information otherwise, let me know. In the meantime, going to claim some credit for a new approach to failed manual reductions. And here is a bold statement--I think this approach could DRAMATICALLY reduce the number of failed manual reductions! What do you think?
