• The Supreme Court announces the repeal of Roe vs. Wade
o Federal abortion rights decision allowing states to determine whether abortion is legal
• Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas claims covid vaccines are developed using cell lines derived from aborted children
o Justice Thomas in a dissenting opinion claims covid-19 vaccines were developed using cell lines derived from aborted children
o The justice’s statement in a dissenting opinion on a case in which the Supreme Court declined to hear a religious liberty challenge to New York’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate from 16 health care workers. The state requires that all health care workers show proof of vaccination.
o Justice Thomas has also voted to overturn Roe vs. Wade and called for the reconsideration of rulings ensuring legal rights for gay people, and birth control.
o No mention of overturning a similar ruling that allows Thomas who is black to be married to his wife Ginni who is a white woman.

• LGBTQ teachers in Orange County, Florida are being told to take down photos of their same-sex spouses in their classrooms and not to talk about them to students following the Don’t Say Gay law taking effect.
o All rainbow articles of clothing are being banned

• Teachers are also required to report to parents if a student says they are not straight
• Emmett Till’s family calls for woman’s arrest after finding 1955 warrant
o The family of Emmett Till is calling for the arrest of a woman “Carolyn Bryant Donham” linked to the black teen’s kidnapping and lynching in 1955 after a team searching for new evidence found an unserved warrant for her that was never executed almost 70 years ago.
o Should the warrant be served?
• A Los Angeles court found Bill Cosby liable in a civil case brought by alleged victim Judy Huth, a woman who claimed Cosby sexually assaulted her as teenager in the 1970’s awarded Huth $500,000 in damages.

• Andrew Caldwell announces he’s a new talk show host on Hot Team’s Hot 104 STL

• Alleged Threesome on Carnival Cruise led to a 60-person brawl

o A viral video has been shared via Twitter showcasing the rumble, which involved beer bottles smashed and a possible cut injury.
o The brawl lasted about an hour and involved an estimated 60 people according to a witness.

• NeNe Leakes and Andy Cohen are allegedly working on solving their differences outside of the courtroom.
o NeNe and Andy are in talks to potentially settle their discrimination lawsuit she filed earlier this year.
o Word on the street is that Bravo plans to do a Legacy show with some of past housewives from RHOA.
