South Street Railroad Crossing, Athens, AL

*originally recorded on 3-24-22*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs and a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell.

After catching NS 733, we continued on over to Athens as I wanted to show them the downtown. When we got out there, this M781 was working the industries on the south side of Athens and about to finish up, so we set-up at South Street (as it was also next to something I'd wanted to show Zac). Here we see M781 going north towards the branch with a GP40-2 for power.

No changes appear to have occured to this crossing since I last recorded it either, which is nice to see. Always love the pair of old gateless L&N signals here (with older light heads on them), so I'm glad to see they're still around.
