Putting a battery into the Uniden EXS9660 900 MHz DSS (digital [digitan] spread spectrum) cordless telephone. This model takes a less common battery which has become rather expensive and difficult to find in recent years, so I improvise with a battery model that's inexpensive and readily available. It's not ideal, but works just fine.
