On June 23, 2022 NASA’s Perseverance Mars Rover found skin-like object under Martian rock. Perseverance uses unique autonomous techniques to pick sites and areas for investigations. This time the rover probably spotted debris from Sky Crane that was transported the rover to the right place on Mars. Sky Crane finally exploded so this 8 cm debris could be moved away by Martian wind. All rocks on Mars are consist of fine particles carried by the atmosphere and/or water and deposited in generally flat-lying layers, which become indurated, or turned into rock, over time.
