In December 2021, ITU started the Web Dialogue Digital Development Series in Katowice, Poland, at the Internet Governance Forum; the Dialogues continued in March and April at BCG’s offices in New York, and concluded in May at the ITU Headquarters in Geneva. The Web dialogues Digital Development Series has been an extraordinary journey to advance progress in connecting meaningfully the 2.9 billion people that currently remain offline.
The Series featured 4 successful hybrid events with more than 30 panellists… hundreds of people following the Dialogues online and plenty of enlightening, fun and inspiring moments such as the announcement of more than a dozen Partner2Connect pledges for accelerating digital transformation and universal meaningful connectivity.
