Orange Street Railroad Crossing, Marianna, FL

*originally recorded on 3-29-22*

Signal on the left: 3.5 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights, 1 WCH 12x24 inch light, a WCH mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights, a WCH mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.

After catching TA-West in Grand Ridge, I chased them over to Marianna for the next crossing I wanted to get. This crossing is a fairly nice one, featuring a pair of signals installed by the SBD back in the 1980s which are still mostly original. It appears that the only major change here occured back later on in the 1980s or in the early 1990s, when CSX replaced the right-rear mast light on the far signal with the current (newer) MI 12x24. Since then, however, nothing major has changed to this crossing, which is nice to see.
Glad to see both signals still retain both of their original WCH mechanical bells and gate mechs, and I'm also quite glad to see that the closer signal still retains all of its original lights. Both bells still sound fairly decent, if a bit rough (especially the far one), so hopefully they'll still be here for many more years to come. Either way, I'm glad to have finally been able to get this guy recorded, almost six years after I first documented it for the site back in 2016.
