On July 14, 2022, Deputy Secretary David Turk led a roundtable discussion about the DOE’s Technology Commercialization Fund (TCF) with special guests Sen. Martin Heinrich of New Mexico, Sen. Ben Ray Luján of New Mexico, and Dr. Cliff Ho. This year’s new approach to the TCF is central to our mission: to further unleash and empower the capabilities of DOE national labs and their partnerships by funding core lab infrastructure projects. The 7 projects selected for FY2022 to Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and Sandia National Laboratories will help overcome barriers to commercialization and strengthen clean energy technology pathways to the marketplace.
