On August 2, 2022 NASA’s Curiosity Mars Rover tried to find signs of past organic life and captured incredible tock formation. Technically the general image was captured on Sol 3551 (2022-08-02 17:34:00 UTC). The rover used Mastcam Instrument to capture presented object. To understand what’s inside the martian rocks Curiosity uses The grid of shiny points visible on the object resulted from that laser zapping by Curiosity's Chemistry and Camera (ChemCam) instrument.
