What was supposed to be a fun, two-day girls’ trip celebrating her best friend, wasn’t exactly a stress-free vacation for Stephanie in the beginning. That’s because this was the first time she’d ever spent the night away from her 1-year-old son, Kairo. But then her husband, Cesar, came up with a clever way to cheer up this homesick mama: with a new ritual using their Ring Stick Up Cam.
“I was really struggling emotionally knowing I would have to be away from them,” says Stephanie. “[Cesar] knew by me seeing this, I would feel better.” And the plan worked. Stephanie adds that the tradition her boys started helped so much, that they plan to continue it if she ever has to leave again.
