Main Street Railroad Crossing, Moncks Corner, SC

*originally recorded on 2-26-22*

Signal on the left: 4 pairs of WRRS 8 inch lights, a WRRS mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 4 pairs of WRRS 8 inch lights, a dead WRRS mechanical bell, and NEG electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.

On the morning of February 26th, I checked out of my hotel in Manning and headed south on the A Line to get a few more crossings recorded, this time closer to Charleston. I decided to stop at this crossing first so I could get a daylight video of the classic signals here in action. After about an hour of waiting, I038 came north with a pair of YN2 AC44CWs for power! Funnily enough, these were the exact same pair of units I caught on this train two days prior on my first day of shooting the A line on this trip, guessing that I038/I037 just had a couple of YN2 pairs assigned to it for a bit.

Unsurprisingly, nothing changed to the crossing in the 13 or so hours between my two videos of it. The NEG e-bell here cut-out while ringing again this time, though it seems that it only cut-out once, likely due to a poor connection to the bell. Still, it was nice to get another video of these classic RACO cantilever signals.
