Far signal: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights and an NEG electronic bell.
Near signal: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights, 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, and an NEG electronic bell.
Not too long after the rail ferry passed by on the Mobile River, the southbound mixed freight came rolling through on the CSX NO&M Subdivision. It had an ES44AH leading a CM44AC and an ES40DC for power, nothing really too special IMHO.
The crossing, on the other hand, is a pretty neat one, IMHO. The signals here are another early-2000s CSX install, but the set-up is rather neat due to the intersection here. The far cantilever was positioned to be in the middle of the Madison Street, with the mast lights facing towards Madison Street and the overhead lights being the "side lights" for the street Madison Street intersects here. A bit unusually, the closer signal features WCH 12x24 inch lights on the mast, which CSX didn't really use back in the early 2000s. No idea how they got here, but they do appear to be original to the cantilever.
Like with Palmetto Street, this crossing has also had its bells replaced. The far signal had its original GS e-bell replaced between 2013 and 2016, and then the closer signal also had its original GS e-bell replaced between 2016 and 2019. Since then, however, no major changes appear to have occurred here thankfully.
