M L King Boulevard Railroad Crossing, Gretna, FL

*originally recorded on 3-28-22*

Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights, a dead General Signals Type-2 electronic bell, a WABCO Model 75 gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type-2 electronic bell, a WABCO Model 75 gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

After catching TA-West in Chattahoochee, I decided to get it at this crossing in Gretna next. As you can see, no major changes have occurred to these (relatively) modernized early-80s SCL signals since I was last here back in 2016. It appears that sometime after that visit though, the bell on the far signal died but has yet to be replaced. As you can see as well, one of the rear lights on the far signal has come open, though I'd imagine that the FGAR will fix that soon if they haven't already.
Either way, I'm glad to see that these old SCL signals are still around and that they still retain their original WABCO Model 75 gate mechs.
