Joyner Street Railroad Crossing, Midway, FL

*originally recorded on 3-29-22*

Signal on the left: 3 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights, a WCH mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights, a dead WCH mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

After catching TA-Local leaving Quincy, I raced on down to this crossing in Midway to get them. Here we see TA-Local one last time, as they didn't have any work to do in Midway (and thus, I didn't really get to chase them back to Tallahassee).

This crossing is another rather nice one, featuring a 1980s SBD install that's still largely original. It appears that there had originally been a pair of side lights on the closer signal, but CSX removed those prior to when street view came through here back in 2007, it appears. Unfortunately, the bell on the closer signal is dead, but it does still feature an older diagonally striped gate arm, which is nice to see.
Hopefully the FGAR gives the closer signal's bell a tune-up, but otherwise leaves this crossing alone for many more years to come. Either way, I'm glad I got a video of this neat little crossing.
