Joyful Day (George Washington University, Department of Medical and Public Affairs, 1988)

(Producer) Documentary film documents a remarkable project which offers sterilization to women. The film concentrates on projects aimed at assisting the hill people in North Thailand in getting reproductive health care. Using laparoscopic techniques the project encourages utilization through making sterilization possible in a single visit saving the villagers problems of attempting to maintain contraceptive methods which must be renewed in an area with limited access to medical facilities.
