I captured an amazing eruption on the Sun, Friday afternoon. I thought it was going to be a quiet day on the sun - I wasn't expecting this. The activity spans a 40-minute period and I sped it up to 3.2 seconds. I'm playing it on a loop.
I'm using an Explore Scientific AR102 telescope and ZWO ASI174MM mono camera. The solar filter I'm using is a DayStar Quark (chromosphere), and for energy rejection - I'm using an Astronomik L3 UV-IR blocker.
