Do you have a PDF file with large file size? In general, everyone asks to share a small size PDF file or they put restrictions on the file size. In this case, we need to reduce the size of our PDF file. You can reduce the PDF file size by using a paid version of Adobe Acrobat DC or you can do it online for free on Adobe’s web tool. We are using a free online web tool of Adobe in this video. Follow these easy steps.
1. Open your web browser.
2. Type http://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/compress-pdf.html in the URL bar of your web browser, and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
3. Click on the blue color button of Select a file.
4. Select your PDF file from your PC, and click on the Open button.
5. Now, select a compression level for your PDF file.
6. If you will select the High compression option, then this will reduce the quality of your images and text and will make the small size PDF file.
7. If you will select the Medium compression the PDF file size will be medium with a good quality of images.
8. Selection of the Low compression option means the large PDF file size with the best quality.
9. I am selecting the High Compression option and then clicking on the Compress button at the bottom.
10. This online Adobe web tool will start compressing your PDF file.
11. After completing the compression process, you will get a status report of your compressed PDF file and will show you the new file size.
12. Click on the Download button to download the compressed PDF file.
13. Choose a location on your PC to save this compressed file, and click on the Save button.
14. Now, double-click on the compressed PDF file to open and check it.
