If you have received a video file in RAR file format and it is not playing on your computer. Then the chances are the supporting software is not installed on your computer. Follow the easy steps as shown in this video to play RAR files on your PC.
1. Open the Google Chrome web browser.
2. Type WinRAR in the Google search bar.
3. From the search result, click on the link to Download WinRAR from the first www.win-rar.com link.
4. From the Download page of WinRAR, click on this blue color button under the download section.
5. Choose the location to save the setup file on your PC, and click on the Save button.
6. After completing the download, at the bottom left, click on the up arrow icon next to the downloaded file name.
7. Click on the Show in folder from the list to open the saved location of the setup file.
8. Double click on the setup file.
9. Click on the Yes button to allow permission.
10. Click on the Install button on the WinRAR installation screen.
11. After completing the WinRAR installation, click on the OK button, and then click on the Done button to close the installation window.
12. Close all the opened windows, and open the location of your video file that you have received in RAR file format.
13. Double-click on the WinRAR video file.
14. See, there are two video files in this WinRAR file.
15. Click on the Extract To button.
16. Select the destination to extract the files, and click on the OK button.
17. This will extract your files to your selected PC location.
18. Now, you can play a video with a video player on your PC.
