In this video, I am showing how to install google drive file stream and how to configure drive file stream on windows computer.
To download google drive for windows visit: https://dl.google.com/drive-file-stream/GoogleDriveSetup.exe
To download google drive for mac visit: https://dl.google.com/drive-file-stream/GoogleDrive.dmg
Procedure to Install Drive File Stream:
Install Drive for desktop
On your computer, go to Use Drive for desktop with work or school and follow the installation instructions to download and install Drive for desktop.
At the bottom right (Windows) or top right (Mac), click Drive for desktop ""and thenOpen Google Drive "".
When you install Drive for desktop on your computer, it creates a drive in My Computer or a location in Finder named Google Drive File Stream. All of your Drive files appear here.
Follow the steps below to install and access Google Drive File Stream on a Windows machine:
Install
1. Do you currently have Google Drive Sync installed? If the answer is yes, go to step
If the answer is no, skip step 2 and go to step 3.
2. Uninstall Google Drive Sync.
3. Open Google Drive and select "Download Drive File Stream for Windows" under Settings. Download File Stream for Windows
Select the "Download for Windows" blue button. Download File Stream for Windows Button
The DriveFileStream.exe is now in Downloads and can be used to install File Stream. Execute (Open) the file.
Sign in to Google Drive.
Allow Drive File Stream to use the information listed.

The process should take a couple of minutes, and you have successfully installed Google Drive File Stream.
