Do you want to use the hyperlinks in your Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files? Then, it is very easy to link an external document, or website, or create an email link in Microsoft Word and other apps. Follow the steps as shown in this video.
1. In Microsoft Word, select a text that you want to make a hyperlink.
2. Then click on the Insert tab, and under the Links section, click on the Hyperlink button.
3. Select external document and click on the OK button.
4. Select a text, and then click again on the Hyperlink button on the Insert tab ribbon.
5. This time you can type a web address in the Address field, and click on the OK button.
6. By this way, you can Hyperlink a website into your Word document.
7. Select a word in your Word document, and click on the Hyperlink again.
8. In the Link to panel on the left side, click on the E-mail address option.
9. Type your email ID, change of display text to Email, and click on the OK button.
10. We learned to hyperlink an external document, website, and email in Word.
11. Now, open the Excel file to do a hyperlink.
12. Select a cell in the spreadsheet.
13. Click on the Insert tab.
14. In the Links section of the ribbon, click on the Hyperlink button.
15. You can also right-click on the cell, and from the drop-down list, click on the Hyperlink.
16. You will find the similar interface of Hyperlink as we were used in the Word document.
17. Type a URL of a website, and click on the OK button.
18. This way we can do hyperlinks in the Excel spreadsheet.
19. Open the PowerPoint presentation.
20. Select a word or text where you want to insert the hyperlink.
21. Click on the Insert tab, and then click on the Hyperlink.
22. Now, you can insert a website link or can hyperlink an email.
23. Click on the OK button.
