How to get rid of duplicate contacts on Android

Are you looking for a solution to merge duplicate contacts in your Android? In this video, we are going to learn an easy way to get rid of duplicate contacts on Android. Follow the steps as shown in this video.

1. Tap on the Google Play Store app to open it.
2. Type Merge Duplicate Contacts in the search bar of Play Store.
3. Tap on the lens icon of your Phone keyboard.
4. From the search result of Play Store, Tap on the Cleaner – Merge Duplicate Contacts.
5. Tap on the Install button.
6. After completing the App Installation process, tap on the Open button.
7. On the Welcome screen, tap on the Get Started button at the bottom.
8. Tap on the Allow button at the bottom to allow the permissions.
9. Tap again on the Allow in the popup box to allow contacts access.
10. Tap on the Accept button, and then tap on the Continue button.
11. The Merge Duplicate Contacts app will open.
12. Under the Duplicate section, you can see the numbers of Duplicate Contacts.
13. Like here, it is showing one duplicate contact.
14. Tap on it.
15. You will see the name of the duplicate contacts.
16. In the Merge Contact screen, tap on the Merg e button at the bottom.
17. In the popup box, Tap on Allow.
18. Tap on any option to log in on the Cleaner app and merge the duplicate contacts.
19. I am tapping on Connect with Google button, as already have signed in on my Google account.
20. Now, no duplicate contacts are showing as it has merged the duplicate contacts.
