In preparing for an update video for the Oura Ring 3, the concept of using a smart ring for family planning and early pregnancy detection based on accurate body temperature measurement emerged as a central theme for this update preview. Here in the USA, issues around “right to life” and “right to choice” have gravitated to individual State mandates that make it ever more important to leverage advanced technology in contraceptive decision making.
This video is, hopefully, going to reach a large audience (with your help sharing it on social media). Most folks are unaware that there are easy ways to detect pregnancy significantly earlier than home testing or lab analysys, and also easy ways to either plan for or avoid pregnancy in the first place, all based on female body temperature changes. The Oura Ring 3, with seven different thermometers, has been proven over 99% accurate in detecting early pregnancy,
Because this “Pro Life” / “Pro Choice” issue is so polarized, I’m turning comments off for this video to avoid making it yet another debate platform. There are plenty already out there. I’ll also delete comments on other of my review videos that delve into this issue so we can stick with the tech at hand and not the social opinions around it. Basically, I’m not comfortable wandering into this area, but I feel there’s a need to present the potential of smart wearable tech for family planning and significantly early pregnancy detection.
