We get diamonds from the ground and diamonds from a lab, but what about diamonds from a sky mine?
Could this new find make way for creating diamonds that are one-to-one like those dug from the earth?
Skydiamond was founded by Dale Vince while thinking of ways to remove CO₂ from the atmosphere. It took five years of R&D to perfect the process of turning atmospheric carbon into diamonds.
By creating diamonds from CO₂ in the atmosphere it can lower the need to have mines that damage the earth and the people who work there.
Let’s explore how to create a diamond from the atmosphere.
Is it possible that the next diamond you buy is from Skydiamond?
In next week's episode, we will talk about self-healing materials, stay tuned.
