Resources are tight in space. Everything that goes up there has mass and therefore a cost. That kind of restriction has inspired scientists to develop super-efficient living quarters for astronauts. Production and consumption is increasing, making resources tight on Earth. How can what we’ve learned about living with less in space help us to live differently down here?
