High speed capping machines are versatile rotary capping systems designed to complement high speed rotary bottling equipment. These flexible rotary cappers continuously sort, apply, and torque caps to a variety of different container sizes and shapes.High speed capping machine comes standard with mechanical friction clutches to ensure that accurate and uniform torque values are applied to each container for optimal closure results. They can be easily integrated into existing packaging lines or tailored for your new project specs.
Rotary Capping Machines are designed to handle virtually any size and style of container, and caps ranging from screw, to press-on and pilfer proof. These high-speed capping machines are ideal for use in the food-processing, cosmetic and chemical industries etc.
Wroking process:
The containers queue up before entering a single star wheel which presents the bottles into the rotating capping station. The star wheel then indexes the bottle into position and the cap is screwed home as the capper rotates.
The capped container leaves the machine via a second star wheel.
Place and press:
The caps are held in a low level hopper, which automatically feed the caps up to the elevated sorting drum. The hopper is fitted with a low level visual alarm to alert the operator, when the hopper requires filling.
The elevated, angled sorting drum presents the caps upside down into a discharge chute, where they are orientated into the correct position.
The inner caps then enter a magazine where they are placed onto the container as it passes underneath and just before it enters the press which closes the cap down.
The containers are stabilised during the pressing action by a side drive which keeps time with the moving conveyor underneath.
