Signal on the left: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights, an NEG electronic bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights, a WCH mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
This was the last crossing I caught TA-Local at, and was also the last crossing I recorded on the Bainbridge Sub. After this, TA-Local (eventually) made their way into the yard here while I decided to try to get TA-East. I found-out TA-East had already made it back to the yard as well, so I decided instead to just document a few more crossings in Tallahassee near the downtown before grabbing some supper, thinking I'd have enough time to eat before TA-West left. Unfortunately, this turned-out not to be the case, but I'll explain more in the next video...
This crossing is yet another nice one, however, and I believe it's the only one on the Bainbridge Sub with WCH gate mechs as well. The signals here appear to have been installed by the SBD back in the 1980s, and are still largely original. Sometime between 2017 and 2019, CSX replaced the original WCH mechanical bell on the far signal, but no other major changes appear to have ever occurred here. The closer signal is still pretty much fully original though, and hopefully this crossing doesn't see any other major changes to it for many more years to come.
For some reason, it appears that the remaining WCH mechanical bell here is set to start ringing when the gates begin to lower, rather than at startup like the other one. Dunno why it's set like this, but it does kinda remind me of some older MoPac crossings that had their bells set like this.
Like with Tower Road, the signals here also did a tail-ring malfunction after the train passed.
