After catching TA-West outside of Mt. Pleasant, I continued on over to this crossing on the P&A Sub since I knew I'd be able to beat them here. And, thankfully, I was able to do so. I was also able to start recording in time, and not have the train sneak-up on my like it had the afternoon prior, so I'm glad to finally have a newer video here.
As you can see, this crossing is still fairly similar to when I last recorded it back in 2016, as nothing too major has changed here since then. However, there are still a few noteworthy changes here, I feel.
First off, and probably the biggest one, after I was here in 2016, CSX replaced the gate arm on the closer signal was replaced and all of the Safetran gate lights that had been on it were sadly replaced with NEG LED gate lights. It also appears that one of the RECO LEDs on the far signal had died as well, so CSX replaced it with another NEG LED gate light as well.
Thankfully, the WCH mechanical bell here and the pair of old L&N cantilevers are still here, and the WCH mechanical bell sounds about like it did back in 2016. However, it appears that sometime within the past year or so, someone ran their vehicle into the closer signal, so it's now leading back towards the track. Kinda surprised the FGAR hasn't fixed it yet, as you'd think they'd be a bit concerned about it potentially falling over. Either way, this is still a pretty nice little crossing, IMHO.
