A glance to the past provides meaning and purpose as doors open at the Weldon Spring Site Interpretive Center.
Dr. Daniel Brown is a historian, writer, and former Francis Howell School District Superintendent. Dr. Brown’s remarks at the Weldon Spring Site Interpretive Center Ribbon Cutting provide a historical perspective of what transpired at the site, from those who sacrificed their properties and homes for the Nation’s defense, to those who worked at the site during both the production and remediation eras, and to the recreational and educational opportunities for visitors today through the new Interpretive Center.
