Thales's Flights Footprint Estimator has been awarded the 'Solar Impulse Foundation Efficient Solution' Label, which highlights products, services, and processes that meet high standards in environmental and economic performance, and serves as a showcase for decision-makers to fast-track their implementation.
Damien Goubinat of the Flights Footprint team says: "We are delighted to have been awarded this label, which rubber-stamps the efforts we are putting into providing the means to estimate and forecast the CO2 and non-CO2 effects of individual flights in order to reduce their environmental impact, one of the keys to building tomorrow's more sustainable aviation."
