Giovanni, who is now a TV celebrity from the recent TLC series STUCK, presented to the emergency department with a hook from his favorite fishing lure stuck in his thumb. In this video we demonstrate the NEEDLE BARB RELEASE technique as well review and judge the other methods used for removing fishhooks. Giovanni did well, but his mother, a good sport nevertheless, found the experience just a tiny bit stressful.
