The Smart Flex Effector is a sensor-based compensation module with independent kinematics in six degrees of freedom.
It gives robots and Cartesian linear systems a human-like sensitivity, thereby increasing precision and opening up completely new areas of application in factory automation.
Processes that are difficult to control can be automated, optimized and monitored by simply retrofitting the Smart Flex Effector.
The #SmartFlexEffector offers many possibilities, e.g.
· Automating assembly and joining tasks reliably despite of fluctuating tolerances thanks to the active correction of position errors
· Gripping and placing objects with great precision – without errors or damage
· Avoiding time-consuming (re)teaching of the robot
· Improving process transparency, identifying errors early on and actively avoiding them
· Simplifying and speeding up operation and commissioning
