After seeing the second northbound mixed freight, I hung-out in Chelsea while waiting for the southbound grain train to come through. I wasn't thinking it would have anything too special on it, so I just parked my car near the defect detector and set-up my camera inside my car to record my scanner. However, the lash-up was much better than expected, so I wound-up chasing said train over to Westover, as you'll see in the next video...
Either way, I was able to get a decent recording of the Watkins DD in Chelsea. This defect detector gives an entry read-out in addition to the typical exit read-out for some reason, and I believe it may be the only defect detector in the state that does so. No idea why it does, as I doubt CSX intended it to, but it's certainly neat to see.
Unfortunately, my scanner missed the start of the entry broadcast on this occasion, but I'm still mostly happy with it.
