C/2017 K2 Pan-STARRS made its closest approach to Earth on July 14, 2022. It was 167 million miles away (270 million km). The comet was also in conjunction with the M10 globular cluster.
I captured this with my Celestron RASA (8-inch) telescope, ZWO ASI533MC color camera, and an Optolong L-Pro filter.
