After I caught the local freight, I'd heard a southbound was gonna be leaving Mobile (I think Q601?), so I moved-up to this crossing to wait on it. While waiting for it (and I believe not too long before the train came), this rail ferry glided up the Mobile River towards a dock, and I decided to film it as I thought it'd be something kinda neat to put on YouTube.
IIRC, I later saw a news article about the christening of this exact ship, at Mobile, so I guess this thing was brand new and on its maiden voyage at the time, lol.
