In the discussion about the future of ag with all its challenges to tackle, it is of utmost important to integrate the perspective of young farmers – because they are the ones who have to deal with the effects of climate change on the ag system in the long run. Every year the European Council of Young Farmers (CEJA) meets for their General Assembly, which this year took plase in the BASF Innovation Center in Ghent. Diana Lenzi, President of CEJA, and Dirk Voeste, Senior Vice President Regulatory, Sustainability & Public Affairs BASF Agriculutral Solutions, took their time to meet for a 1:1 to discuss the challenges the ag system faces, the future of ag as well as concrete actions that need to be taken.
