Arnold Street Railroad Crossing, Cullman, AL

*originally recorded on 6-8-22*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs and a WCH mechanical bell.

After the MOW vehicle came through, I left my camera set-up for the train we were hearing approach. After a bit of waiting, this northbound intermodal train (CSX I028, IIRC?) came through with an ST70AH leading an ET44AH! Certainly a rather neat train to be my final train of this long trip, lol.

As you can see, thankfully no major changes have occurred to this crossing since I last recorded it. The conduit is still all in place around the crossing, but it honestly seems like CSX may have put-off the upgrade here, or maybe even cancelled it outright, for one reason or another?
