A few days ago, a popular website that used to host iOS Beta Profiles, such as the iOS 16 Beta Profile, shut down after legal pressure from Apple Inc. It's been long known that Apple hates this kind of website that distributes their developer beta profiles, and they've been known for taking video tutorials down before, but this website somehow managed to remain up for years, until Apple decided to take legal action.
The Beta Profiles owner said on Twitter that they've decided to shut down the website because they didn't want to get into a legal battle with Apple. A battle that undoubtedly they'd lose, considering they were indeed in direct copyright infringement to Apple's property. The only legal way to get the betas is via Apple's Developer portal.
