We'll finish the turning & threading on the friction press shaft, utilizing our following and steady rests. I've been real happy with how the new Precision Matthews lathe performing. It cuts nice and straight, and the high range of gears seem silky smooth.
Next up we'll work on machining the woodruff and straight keyways.
